Diversity & inclusion training professional by Roderick M. Mason
Diversity & inclusion training professional? Finally, a blended approach can save you valuable time from collecting training feedback in a physical environment. Blended learning for corporate training allows you to gather valuable data about your employees’ performance improvement via online quizzes and tests, whereas your Learning Management System can itself generate feedback in the form of automatic reports. Moreover, a blended learning approach can help you measure the effectiveness of your overall training program, as feedback from employees cannot only be used as an indication of their performance levels, but also as a training strategy evaluation tool. Finally, employees benefit as well, since they are able to review their progress, weaknesses, and strengths.
Productivity/motivation – Self-awareness can increase your productivity. Becoming aware of your strengths and weaknesses can encourage you to produce higher quality work – seeing improvement in yourself can give you a little confidence boost and motivate you to achieve more! Self-awareness can also guide you to develop your weaknesses into strengths For example, a poor attitude can be turned into a positive one – this can be achieved by recognising the impact and consequences of your attitude and how it can affect others around you. It’s certainly not easy, but becoming more aware of how others respond to or absorb your mood/behaviour may encourage you to control it – or even turn it into a positive attitude in order to encourage others in the workplace! This should give you the drive that you need to become more productive and work harder to achieve your personal goals.
Transformational Coaching acknowledges the fact that individuals are always manifesting a life they imagine and therefore, are always powerful. They manifest through worry and focusing on that which could go wrong, as well as what is in the way of them having what they say they want. Have you known people who fall victim to one circumstance after another? They are generating a sense of power from being a victim, which serves them one way or another. I know a woman who constantly has awful experiences at restaurants. The hostess was grumpy, the server didn’t bring any water and the mashed potatoes were cold; one thing after another. This woman appears to be a victim of poor restaurants. But, her experience of being a victim to circumstances at restaurants happens quite frequently. As a couch, I would say that she is getting something from being a victim to her circumstances. She is getting some form, or some level of power from her stance. “What will go wrong this time” is probably a question that is part of an unconscious conversation that is playing in her head before and during her restaurant experience. This woman is powerful in that she is creating or manifesting that which she imagines. Again, coaches always acknowledge the client’s power whether it shows up as empowering or as disempowering; whether it supports the stated commitment or an underlying conflicting commitment.

Stakeholders see the leadership behavior on a regular basis and are in the position to give feedback on the quality of leadership as well as tell the leader whether that quality of leadership is improving or not. They are also in a position to hold the leader accountable when he commits to changing/improving her leadership behavior. They provide on-job coaching and accountability to the leader while she makes an effort to improve her leadership. Marshall Goldsmith’s stakeholder centered coaching is based on this concept of involving the stakeholders – the people who are at the receiving end of the leadership behaviors. It starts with an assessment of the current leadership quality by soliciting 360-degree feedback from the stakeholders. Based on the feedback, the leader chooses 1-2 areas to improve in order to become a better leader.
Being a lifelong audiophile, Roderick M. Mason relished this opportunity to serve in the audio industry and worked relentlessly to achieve success as a retailer. Gradually climbing the proverbial ladder of success, he was approached by a fellow audiophile who pitched him an idea to open an independent audio store. However, this endeavor failed to flourish and he had to leave behind the audio industry to pursue opportunities in different fields. Roderick went on to become a Certified Personal Trainer and was able to lead this endeavor to fruition with utmost devotion and tenacity. However, a ruptured appendix put his journey as a personal trainer to a halt as he spent two weeks on a hospital bed and had to give up training for the next three months. Find more details at here.
